Airliner-derived cabin space for a private journey.
The Challenger 850 offers a long, broad cabin on an airframe derived from Bombardier’s regional-jet family. Its attraction is the amount of space available for a private group, rather than the maximum range of an ultra-long-range aircraft. A fourteen-seat executive layout is a useful reference for comparing its generous interior with more compact jets.
Plan a flight with this aircraft
The cabin can accommodate several activity areas, with individual chairs, a dining group and divan seating according to the completion. Its length gives designers room to separate a quieter lounge from a more social area. The galley and enclosed lavatory help the aircraft support a substantial service on a regional journey.
A large cabin does not automatically mean the longest nonstop capability. The Challenger 850 is often considered for missions where passenger comfort and group accommodation take precedence over maximum distance. Compare the route with the actual aircraft’s operating data, particularly when the passenger party and baggage load are both substantial.
Ask for a seating diagram that identifies the exact approved passenger capacity and the arrangement when resting. Large divans can be attractive socially, but they do not replace individual seats in every situation. Agree on catering, baggage and ground transport early so the whole party can follow one coordinated itinerary.
Tell us your route, number of passengers and luggage requirements. If sleeping, a private meeting or dining together matters, include it in your brief so the proposed aircraft can be assessed against the way you want to travel.
