Distinctive engineering. An intimate cabin.
The original HondaJet HA-420 is immediately recognisable by its engines mounted above the wings. That unconventional arrangement is central to its compact executive-jet design. It offers an attractive option for a small travelling party, while remaining distinct from the later Elite, Elite S and Elite II versions.

Honda’s original specification lists four passengers with two crew as a typical arrangement, with five passengers possible in an alternative configuration. Interior dimensions are 1.47 metres high and 1.52 metres wide. Confirm the actual seating map, particularly if an additional seat is important to the journey.
The manufacturer publishes a 1,223-nautical-mile NBAA IFR range with four occupants and a maximum cruise speed of 422 knots at FL300. Those figures apply to the original specification. They should not be replaced with the longer-range numbers of later HondaJet variants when evaluating a particular aircraft.
Honda publishes 66 cubic feet of combined stowage, divided between nose and aft compartments. This is a useful starting point for packing, but bag shape and door dimensions still matter. Check connectivity, refreshment provision and the required cabin luggage separately, as installations differ between individual aircraft.
Tell us your route, number of passengers and luggage requirements. If sleeping, a private meeting or dining together matters, include it in your brief so the proposed aircraft can be assessed against the way you want to travel.
