Citation CJ2+

A familiar light-jet cabin, in the plus version.

The Citation CJ2+ is the later development of the CJ2, retaining a compact cabin that works naturally for a small travelling party. The plus designation identifies a distinct aircraft version; it should not be used interchangeably with the original CJ2. Compare the exact aircraft offered as well as the model name.

A compact but useful layout

The reference specification lists a cabin approximately 4.14 metres long, 1.45 metres high and 1.47 metres wide, with a seven-passenger reference configuration. A seating diagram is essential if all seven places are needed. With fewer passengers, the same cabin can provide more flexibility for personal space and approved hand luggage.

A regional performance reference

Cessna’s 2008 brochure gives a 1,613-nautical-mile range with three passengers and full fuel, alongside a separately quoted maximum cruise speed of 418 knots. That historical reference corresponds closely to the catalog distance. A full cabin is a different mission and should be assessed for its actual payload and required reserves.

Specify what matters onboard

Connectivity is not guaranteed simply because a listing names the CJ2+. Ask the operator to confirm any Wi-Fi installation, coverage and charges, along with table access and refreshments. For leisure trips, supply measurements for larger bags and sports equipment so loading can be checked before committing to an aircraft.
